Musk offers to pay $1 million every day to a signer of his petition

Billionaire Elon Musk announced on Saturday that he will donate $1 million daily until the upcoming November election to individuals who sign his online petition advocating for the U.S. Constitution.

He swiftly presented a $1 million check to an attendee at his Pennsylvania event, which was designed to galvanize support for Republican Donald Trump. Event staff confirmed that the victor was identified as John Dreher.

Interestingly, John was completely unaware. “So anyway, you’re welcome,” remarked the Tesla founder while presenting Dreher with the check.

The funds represent a recent instance of Musk leveraging his immense fortune to sway the fiercely competitive presidential election featuring Trump and his Democratic opponent, Kamala Harris.

Musk has established America PAC, a political action committee aimed at backing Trump’s presidential campaign. The organization is actively working to mobilize and register voters in key battleground states; however, indications suggest it is facing challenges in achieving its objectives.

The event in Harrisburg marks the third gathering in Pennsylvania in just a few days. Musk is framing the upcoming November election in a dramatic light, urging his supporters to cast their votes early while motivating others to participate as well.

On Saturday, he remarked that a Harris victory would signify “the last election,” implying the potential dissolution of the United States.

He stated that the two assassination attempts on Trump demonstrate his ability to disturb the established order in ways that Harris does not. He noted that this is the reason no one is attempting to harm Harris.

Musk stated, “Assassinating a puppet is worthless,” echoing a sentiment he previously expressed in a social media post.

Musk’s petition urges individuals to endorse the statement: “The First and Second Amendments guarantee freedom of speech and the right to bear arms.” By affixing my signature below, I am formally expressing my commitment to uphold the principles enshrined in the First and Second Amendments.

Participants at Saturday’s gathering were required to sign a petition, enabling America PAC to collect contact information from potential voters to mobilize them for Trump’s campaign.

Forbes identified Elon Musk as the wealthiest individual globally. Federal disclosures reveal that Musk has contributed a minimum of $75 million to America PAC. This funding positions the organization as a vital component of Donald Trump’s efforts to reclaim the presidency.

The entrepreneur behind carmaker Tesla has expanded his influence into the realms of aerospace with his rocket and satellite venture, SpaceX. Recently, he has shown a growing alignment with Republican causes and has emerged as a vocal supporter of Donald Trump this year.

In a bold statement, Trump indicated that if he secures the presidency, he will consider appointing Musk to lead a government efficiency commission.
