Apple is set to reveal its iPhone 17 lineup on Tuesday, September 9, during an event titled ‘Awe Dropping’, as reported by various sources and industry speculation. Although the company has yet to issue any formal statements, speculation is rife that the upcoming lineup will feature the standard iPhone 17, a significantly revamped iPhone 17 Air, and the premium iPhone 17 Pro models.
Reports from 9to5Mac and MacRumors suggest that the standard iPhone 17 will come equipped with a 6.3-inch 120 Hz ProMotion display, the new A19 chip, and an enhanced 24 MP front camera, all within a recognisable dual-camera layout.
Reports indicate that the upcoming event may feature the ultra-slim iPhone 17 Air, which is rumoured to measure only 5.5 mm in thickness and sport a 6.6-inch display. The device’s streamlined design involves certain compromises, such as a reduced battery capacity and the presence of only one rear camera.
