In a thrilling move, Manchester City has officially brought Egyptian forward Omar Marmoush into their ranks, securing him from Bundesliga outfit Eintracht Frankfurt on a four-and-a-half-year deal, as announced by the Premier League giants on Thursday.
While the clubs have kept the financial specifics under wraps, reports from British media suggest that the transfer of the 25-year-old Egypt international is valued at approximately 70 million euros, or $72.80 million, with additional bonuses potentially on the table.
Marmoush splashes as City’s third signing of the January transfer window, following the additions of centre-backs Abdukodir Khusanov and Vitor Reis. Since his move from VfL Wolfsburg to Frankfurt in 2023, he has been a force on the pitch, netting 37 goals and delivering 20 assists in just 67 matches.
